Salawat: The Way To Earn A Thousand Good Deeds

Hawzah News Agency- Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:

مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِائَةَ حَسَنَةٍ، وَمَنْ قَالَ: صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ، كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ.

Whoever sends blessings (salawat) upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, Allah writes for him a hundred good deeds. And whoever says: ‘May Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household,’ Allah writes for him a thousand good deeds
